Hi I finally accepted my place at BU yesterday and I have been trying to register for orientation, yet a message keeps popping up about how my account is not authorized for this yet… I was wondering what this means, and how did you guys set this up? Also, what is a BU email and how do I set that up, I have been using my regular email for the Student portal…
It may be that the system just hasn’t caught up to you, since you’ve only just confirmed your acceptance (congrats!). But with that said, look on your applicant portal. There should be a link on the front page to click through which states “Help me set up my BU Web Account.” If it’s not there, sit tight while they get done processing, or perhaps contact Admissions.
