me and my friend both received scholarship letters mentioning that we could write essays for a possible scholarship. the martin luther king scholarship or trustee i forget, but will they show favor towards the people who do the essays?
like will they “we sent him a letter and he did the essay” and show favoritism?
and will they go “we sent him a letter and he didnt do the essay” then show prejudice?
<p>I got both of those letters as well, and have written letters for both scholarships. If you got the letter and don't apply for the scholarship they don't care; they probably send the letters to all well qualified candidates who they know are interested in applying. If you don't want the free money that won't influence if you get in or not. I also don't think people who didn't receive the letters will be disfavored in the scholarship selection process, especially if they are the best qualified candidates. Hope that helps!</p>
