BU Financial aid?

I was admitted to CAS for next fall, hopefully major in neuroscience and premed. I would love to attend bu, but I
would have to take out loans… I need around 10,000 to make it reasonable for my family. Is there anyway i could obtain more aid from the university? Thanks.

Anyone willing to help?

I’m in the same situation, admitted to SMG but need about $10,000 more than they offered to be able to attend. Called and of course, they said that they had “unfortunately exhausted all their funds for this year.” Oh well, guess I’m off to community college for two years!

you got accepted to BU! congrats ! what were your SAT grades if you are willing to share. Wow from that to community college? there is something you need to do to get in or attend another college. Where else you apply?

I got accepted to Ucsd, lmu, and csulb. Prob going to SD if I can’t get any money…
I had a 3.7W and 1940, though I am a URM.

holy **** ! 1940 is amazing! is that superscored? I wanna go to BU and I hope a 1800-1850 SAT superscore is acceptable

BU is a great school and is my first choice although 50k a year is ridiculous

Haha check out the acceptance threads. On bu’s website they say the average sat is slightly above 1900. So good luck! And yes, that’s why im leaning towards ucsd.

Terrible freshman and sophomore year grades, got shafted by one teacher in particular who ruined junior year for me. About 3.2 unweighted GPA, but impressive grades this year given the courseload. 31 ACT, 32 superscored. Waitlisted at Northeastern and University of Richmond.

And lol $42,400 tuition + something like $13k room and board, then everything else and travel fees makes it over $60k/yr to attend. Only got $10k in grants.

Ouch… So do you think youll attend?

Nah, not interested in drowning myself in $200,000 of debt.
