<p>Looks like things are finally turning around for BU hockey. We started terribly but we are currently on the longest winning streak of any team in the country and finally cracked the national rankings at #16. After deeming this a “throwaway” year, us Terrier fans really have quite a few things to be excited about after this weekend’s sweep of Northeastern. We lead Hockey East in goals scored and Bennett seems to be getting better every game. Losing the Beanpot might have been the spark that we needed to really wake this team up. The only real big obstacle we have left in our way is defeating the 2 top teams in Hockey East, Boston College and especially University of New Hampshire, who look like they might seriously contend for a national title. So to all those who wrote off the boys from BU earlier this year, I’m glad to say that we all spoke too soon because this season is just heating up as we get ready for next month’s playoffs.</p>

<p>What a solid game by BU (minus their penalty killing). Another 2 goal game by Hockey East's leading scorer Peter MacArthur. It was great to watch the game on NESN even though I'm back home in Jersey. Our offense is on fire. They sure picked the right time to get hot. Three wins away from a Hockey East Title!!! BC SUCKS!!!!! Not in Boston, not a college, liars from the start. GO BU!!!</p>

<p>BU will play Vermont in the semifinals of the Hockey East tournament this Friday at 8 from the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston. If you guys get NESN, be sure to watch the sea of red make the few UVM kids wish they didnt make the trip down.</p>
