BU, #1 rated hockey team this season, is in the Frozen Four. BU also won Hockey East and the Beanpot this year.

Others are Vermont (also from Hockey East), Bemidji State (Minnesota!), and Miami of Ohio.

That's deep . . . excellent college hockey is a tradition at Boston University and this year's team has shown great consistency despite a few times when the Terriers lose focus. However with the depth of talent from freshman to senior lines it doesn't take much to push hard and fast. From my college days to today, the Terriers continue to surge, swarm and explode like no other team. Owe that to Coach Parker who has the best job in college hockey, and deserves it.

From a BU alum and the dad of a D that just got accepted to BU

i love bu hockey! i was raised on hockey as a kid (flyers fan for life!) and have been to every bu home game for my 4 years (and will continue for the next 4 years!) and I am so proud of my terriers! they really made an effort this year and kicked some serious be-hind to get to where they are. GO BU!

I love hockey, it's been a major part of my life since I was a kid. Now it's one of the reasons why I absolutely love BU!

The BU/OSU game was on ESPN2, but the UNH game was on ESPNU which my cable company doesn't have. So I searched the internet until I found a free broadcast but unfortunately it was the UNH broadcast. During the third period, I found a live blog and the bloggers described the action 2 minutes ahead of the broadcast. So I knew BU had won and wasn't quite so anxious listening to the broadcast.

My S who graduated in January lives in suburban DC but can't attend the games because they are on Passover. The BU Young Alumni Club in DC has been having viewing parties at a sports bar.

The BU / UNH game was very close. Played basically as a home game for UNH and their team responded by taking it to BU, who had been the better team all season. Hockey is a game where home ice matters so credit to BU for sticking that one out.

i was on the edge of my seat! i had to get live stats postings cuz i was in an office and seeing someone write "THEY SCORED!" with 15 seconds left, i was like "WHO?! WHO SCORED?!" and literally screamed when i found out we're going to the frozen four. GO BU!!!!

I nearly crapped my pants like 6 times during that game. So glad it didn't get go to OT cause you know those rushes were going to pay off for UNH sooner or later. UVM is going to be a big obstacle though, I attended both games at Agganis where we lost.

What about BU basketball though? Should find out about the new head coach pretty soon.

So BU is into the NCAA final on Saturday (4/11) against Miami of Ohio! I only saw part of the 3rd period against Vermont. BU played much better after they fell behind 4-3.

I was hoping for Bemidji State only because, well gee, it’s Bemidji State. How often do you hear that name? Miami finished tied with Michigan for 2nd in the CCHA, behind Notre Dame. Most of their losses came at home.

I am so excited to go to BU Hockey game next year!!! I’ve heard so many awesome things about the experience. I can’t say I watch too much hockey now (I’m a diehard Red Sox fangirl though- so I know my intense sport love), but I plan to be a fan next year!! GO TERRIERS!

college hockey is an experience like no other. i used to be so psyched to go to flyers game, but after going to bu games, i now get kinda bummed out! if you go to 1 hockey game u will instantly fall in love with bu hockey, especially if its a bu-bc game. i’ve gone to EVERY home game for the past 4 years!!! (with the exception of a few that bennett played and it was just too painful to watch)

And BU wins the national title!!!

That game was so over with Miami ahead 3-1, but that comeback was among the greatest in all of college sports history. A goal at 59.5 seconds to make it 3-2 and then a goal with 17.4 seconds to tie. Then the winner 12 minutes into overtime when a blocked shot bounces in the air over the Miami goalie. Amazing. Simple amazing.

That last goal was kind of flukey though.

They all count. Players are taught to go down to block shots but every now and then they deflect them in. In an NHL game today, the winner was scored when a clearing pass hit the back edge of a defenseman’s skate and bounced directly backwards past the goalie.

that game was insane. 2 goals in 42 seconds. AMAZING! Go Terriers!

I AM SO PUMPED!!! I was shaking for the whole third period!!! So proud of the Terriers!!!

Go bu! Ncaa champions

Wonderful job by my Terriers. I was there in DC and have never witnessed a game quite like that. Down 2 goals with less than a minute left, who knew the miracle we were about to witness? And now the championship is back in Boston, after spending a year down the road in a school pretending to be from Boston. GO TERRIERS!! Thanks for all the memories!

the terriers really made my senior year. i am so proud of them, even though there have been times where they’ve had me emotionally reeling…like last night lol. but i have NEVER seen a game as exciting as last night’s and the vermont game, including nhl games (lol hey, im only 22). i’m hoping to live in boston for many reasons…one of the top ones that i want to have season tickets to the terriers and raise my kids being hooked on bu hockey! JACKIE PARKER IS MY HERO!

Greatest game I’ve ever been to.
