<p>Since S committed to BU early decision, I have been more sensitive to the mention of BU in the media.</p>
<p>The other day I was listening to NPR’s “The World,” produced in Boston, and Peter Berger was interviewed at length about religion and culture in connection with the Pope’s death. Berger is a professor emeritus and the Director of the Institute for the Study of Economic Culture.</p>
<p>Yesterday’s New York Times Book Review had two reviews of newly published books by BU professors: “Ponzi’s Scheme” by journalism professor Mitchell Zuckoff, and “The Best Year of Their Lives: Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon in 1948- Learning the Secrets of Power” by Lance Morrow.</p>
