<p>i really, really want to go to bu, but dont know if i’ll get in</p>

<p>EDUCATION:
gpa: 3.5 UW, 3.7 (unofficial weighted), 4.0 weighted (my school has a weird weight system)
no class ranks
SAT: 1940/2400, 1290/1600. cr=630, m=660, w=650
SAT IIs: just took them, so i don’t know</p>

<p>EXTRACURRICULARS:
sports editor for newspaper (10-12)
varsity track runner (9, 10)
model u.n. head delegate/member (10-12)
nhs member (9)
key club (9-12)
school representative (9-12)
television anchor for school (10-12)
speech member (9)
debate member (10-12)

<p>i have been managing my own business since i was in 6th grade
have been an intern for the make-a-wish foundation since 8th grade
over 600 hours of charity work at local library/around city
want to major in journalism
go to top public school in indiana
class of 1100 students
have taken 15 ap/honors courses
mix of asian/caucasian</p>

<p>I’m currently a junior in high school, and I would absolutely die of happiness if I got accepted into BU.</p>

<p>FRESHMAN YEAR:
-3.4 GPA
-member of band
-DECA international competitor (for those who may not know, it’s a business club)</p>

<p>SOPHMORE YEAR:
-2.6 GPA (i know it dropped, )
-member of band, and marching band
-member of choir
-school radio announcer</p>

<p>JUNIOR YEAR (so far):
-3.0 GPA
-member of band, and marching band
-member of choir
-editor/graphic layout artist for school magazine
-freelance writer for school newspaper</p>

<p>-second semester, as of right now, my GPA is about a 3.0</p>

<p>OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL/extracurricular:
-coach soccer for a girls team (volunteer)
-school rugby team
-work at an animal hospital</p>

<p>*OTHER POTENTIALLY IMPORTANT STUFF:
-taken French (2nd language) every year of high school
-was in IB for 2 years (freshman/sophmore) then realized it was too much for me.
-school mascot. </p>

<p>I havent taken my SAT or ACT yet, but i am quite confident that I will do alright.</p>
