BU Medical school stats

Hi, I have gotten admitted into the Sargent College for Human Physiology.

I was just wondering is there any statistics of the percentage of people who go through Pre-med at BU and get into Medical School?

Does BU favor its undergraduate students?

Thanks!

look in the premed forum-i gave some info about early pathways. in total, ~50 med students at BU med come from BU or other BU-related early pathways (i.e. EMSSP, SMED, MMEDIC, ENGMEDIC). a friend of mine in human phys just got accepted to harvard med. at BU, if you work hard and get ~3.5/3.6 or better and get over a 30 on the mcat, you’re pretty much good to go for getting into a med school as far as grades and standardized testing are concerned. my advice would be to start getting medical/research/emt experience NOW! med schools wanna see that you know that you want to be a doctor because you’ve had some kind of experience with medicine.

thanks for your information! it was very useful
I guess thats the case for everything, hard work! haha
