P.S. Will the fact that i’m African American help me out with my chances of getting in at all?
You have extremely strong AP’s, GPA, and your test scores are average for average for the schools you listed. I would say that Case Western is a match, while NYU and BU are high reaches (as they are for everyone) and UPenn is almost always a reach, no matter what your qualifications. But I’d say you have a pretty solid chance at all the schools you listed! Best of luck!
Chance back, please?

^Disagree with the above. Obama got into harvard with a 30 ACT. Affirmative action is a thing and it is what it is so use it in your favor. Calling BU a high reach is really really not the case. BU is a low match while case western and NYUs are matches. UPenn is a reach but with a 33+ on your ACT it’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility.
So you think I should raise my test scores and I’ll have a much higher chance of admission into the dentistry programs I’m planning on applying for? @Alundari
