Hey! When i was in boston i visited both NEU and BU and their both very good schools. BU is more of liberal arts college than NEU is and it's way different in the actualy visual set up. BU's campus is stretched along about 5 train stops, but it's only a block wide. It's also very gothic looking builiding structures versus NEU's modern looking heart. NEU is significantly smaller feeling even though they are similar in size. I applied to NEU and after my visit at BU decided it wasnt for me. BU is also more expensive as it's supposedly somewhat more "elite". BU provides dedicated housing to it's students all years, so does NEU but not to the same extent. I don't know much about the business program, but i'm sure that if it's at BU its gotta be good. And I know that NEU has a very good business program.

thanks for the comment

haha, I started that forum that gchester just linked. Anyways, Xtopher where are you from? We both have the same dilema with NU and BU. IM me sometime...

I'd also like to agree that even though Northeastern is siginficantly larger than BU [18,000+ vs. 15,000+], due to a large chunk of the student body being away on coop and the way that the campus is configured makes NU seem smaller and more tight nit.

The main difference, and it is exactly what NEU would tell you, is that you should not attend NEU if you aren't committed to the coop thing. It's really what they do.
