BU or NYU for CAS

I am now blessed with the option of many colleges to choose from. Its come down to BU and NYU. I already sent my deposit to NYU to save my spot. I am just wondering on what some of your opinions are of these two schools and their CAS programs. I will probably be a psych major and maybe an Econ minor. We'll see but thanks anything would be nice. Also money is an issue. and NYU is now about 30,000 so if BU is significantly cheaper then I'd go there.

aside from the money thing I would say NYU...its reputation is better than BU and being in the city offers you job opportunities that BU can't. I am a little biased though because I'm going to NYU next fall ;)

you'll get more of a college experience at BU, even though they're both in the city. yeah, everybody is saying how awesome new york city is, but boston is amazing, beautiful, and more laid-back. if you're not doing business or the arts such as theatre, you should definitely go to BU.

anyways, it seems to be that everybody wants to go to NYU just because it's in the city. you should also take into consideration how many people are unhappy with nyu and are transferring out.

The cost of living in NYC should be taken into consideration. An evening out for a movie and pizza could run $30 - in Boston 1/2 the price. I went to BU undergrad and NYU grad school. They are very different places indeed. Both were amazing experiences! Boston is much more of a college town, student centered area - and NYC is a hustle and bustle place. NYU is there, but it is not a student centered place at all. It all depends on what you are up for!
