BU or Syracuse

I got into both BU Comm and Syracuse Newhouse and I can't decide which to go to. Their costs are roughly the same because I got merit scholarships from both. I was wondering what other people in the same problem chose and what was their thinking. Why should I choose one over the other?

I'm at BU right now -- I'm an English major, so I know little about COM besides the fact that we have a good program. I'd pick Newhouse if I were in your shoes, though -- I just don't like BU in general. I feel like a number. No grass on the non-existent campus. If living in a busy, urban environment is your prerogative, then I suppose BU is good -- but if you want to feel like you're at a college, check out Syracuse :P

SU!!..lol. BUt seriously, Newhouse is supposed to be the **** soooo....its a tough choice but like the previous poster said, BU, is like in the middle of Boston so you don't get the sterotypical "college experience." Whereas, SU is a college city.

SU has a stronger program for journalism, but if you really love a city campus and the Boston area, it isn't as if BU is without merit. Good communications program, good connections, but it isn't as journalism crazy as Newhouse.
