I decided to make this because I’m submitting my app tomorrow. Good luck everyone!!
Probably going to apply if I don’t get into my #1
S applied as well. Plenty to like about BU! (except maybe the sticker price which is the reason we didn’t go the ED route).
Anyone know when we’ll hear?
@MaxiTaxi Mid-March, 2018
Hahaha sooo I ended up applying :’)
To those that have already submitted your application to BU, have you received an email from that saying that they’ve received your application? I haven’t and it’s been a few weeks so I’m kind of worried here…

@indecisive19 hi! I got in ED and I never got an email confirming that alone, don’t worry eventually I got an email telling me how to set up my Applicant Link, but that took a couple weeks and with them being on break too I wouldn’t stress about it.
I ended up applying too a little nervous about cost- are they generally ok with need based aid? ~50k a year parent income.
Submitted application December 27 and no email, but I assume they are on break for the New Year’s holiday. I did get an email from the Common App saying my application was successfully submitted, and the CA site shows that all recs plus my school’s submissions were “downloaded” on December 28.
DS applied with BU weeks ago and no email or access to portal yet. They’re the only school we didn’t get anything after applying. Hmm.
Received an email this morning to set up Applicant Link.
@WilliamNYC My son applied Thanksgiving weekend and received information to set up his applicant link by 12/5. I would contact admissions.
Will do @bethanylm291 . Thanks!
I got an email this morning to set up my portal as well.
@sunflowerlover thank you! And congratulations!
Is everyone’s portal saying “Thank you for applying?”
And then once you log into the Applicant Link, and click on “Application Status,” does everyone’s portal currently say: “Our records indicate that you have applied to the College of — for the Fall 2018 Semester…”
I mean, I just submitted my application on December 29, got the portal email on January 2, and Boston has been slammed with a snowstorm. The “our records indicate language” can’t really mean someone has already put me in the reject basket, right?
