@heyheyheyheyhey Northeastern’s acceptance rate last year was 27% and they were overenrolled over 300 students. They do not want another over enrolment.

I also just realized BU isn’t that much less selective than NEU? For some reason I’ve been thinking it’s a lot less selective
Also really worried about my Why BU essay. I wrote about the school’s diversity, is that too generic? Most other people I’ve heard from wrote about specific programs

yeah they arent that much less selective but somehow ive still seen people with similar stats to me get accepted, much more than NEU.

@heyheyheyheyhey BU has become more selective by decreasing the size of the freshman class from 4100 to 3300 over the past few years. Half of CGS starts in January and they increased transfer acceptances to make up for it.
@catdog11 - my daughter’s says this as well. It says it will send an e-mail if missing anything, but she has never received any e-mail. Should it say it’s complete by now? Her 2nd quarter grades were sent out, but that’s all she has right now?

I was waitlisted at Northeastern, which honestly shocked me because people with such incredibly high stats were rejected. Really hoping for BU!
One more thing.
I took a few SAT II’s because Tufts requires them and I figured I’d send them to some of my other top schools because why not and I assumed I would do well on them. Turns out I did pretty bad on them and by the time I found out my scores there was no way to unsend them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tufts looked unfavorably on the scores since they require them but will BU think anything of them if my other test scores are good? Also sent my SAT II scores to NEU soo yikes i hope thats not what got me rejected

I got into the NU ID program today was very excited. I’m really hoping I get into BU because it has been my top school for so long!
message on my portal just changed to “thank you”. I was deferred ED II. My average is 91/100 or 3.7. ACT is 28C, but 30 superscore. Who else saw a change in their portal message?
