@greeneandh Which school did you apply to?

@ACollegeHopeful3 Which school did you apply to?

@YoungOne4 College of arts and sciences

@greeneandh S applied to CAS, and his page says “Our records” as of today.

@YoungOne4 I applied to the college of communications.

mine just changed to “thank you”, it used to be our records indicate up until today

@20colleges Which college did you apply to?

@YoungOne4 college of arts and sciences

For future applicants, here are my S’s stats: 3.79 GPA, 32 ACT (33 if BU superstores), didn’t take the SAT, 2 honors & 9 APs (scored 3 or higher on all), and EC’s are largely focused on music

Thanks @YoungOne4 . Thank you also if you are trying to find a rhyme and reason to the Thank You/Our Records messages as they relate to schools within the university. Let us know if you can make any sense of it.

My D has a 3.9 uw gpa and 5.1 w gpa. 1500 SAT. Didn’t take the ACT. Took some subject tests but no need to submit them. She has 6 total APs and 10 Honors classes. She is a varsity athlete, tutor, hospital volunteer, does some other cool volunteer work. Has had 2 part time jobs here and there. Starting a new one on Friday. She applied as a Human Physiology major in the Sargent College.

Best of luck to everyone here - I think we’ll find out decisions on March 17th.

@-)

We’ll figure it out yet, @Winky1! Thankfully, you’re right…results are only a couple of weeks away and, regardless, everyone will go where they are meant to be. It’s been fun talking with everyone!

@YoungOne4 woah, you have better stats than me! $-)

I applied to the College of Art and Sciences for Microbiology/Molecular Bio:
My GPA is a 3.6/4.0,

ACT is a 27(smh).

I have taken 6+AP(scored 4-5 on all my science and art ones) classes and about 4 honor classes. I took a college class (SUPA Forensics).

competed in regional science competitions (won 3rd place! :)>- ).
Most of the extracurricular activities is from being a co-president in my school’s diabetes club and taking care of my autistic sister.

Also, even though I am well into my gap year, I still train students for these science competitions and continue to speak at my school for the diabetes club. I am also working with vets and pet groomers at my job(which I may want to work with- microbiology, biology, etc) and constantly volunteering for the Bread of Life Food Pantry!

I haven’t done much, and since I’m a first gen with type 1 diabetes my grades aren’t great either :))

I know for ED students, the “Thank you” message meant something important… should I continue to look into it? My message changed(I think today ) from “our records” to “thank you” and I have both drop down menus!! :bz

@greeneandh Your stats and accomplishments are terrific! I would not look further into the messaging at this point. Between @Winky1 and I, we have basically determined (without more to go on) that for RD students the message has no solid correlation. We’ll all find out in a couple of weeks and, in the meantime, I think you are looking great. I wish you good luck!

my glitch is still there with the different font and I’m still not able to click on “Application Status” but am able to click on “Admissions Status” and “Financial Assistance Status.” There is no drop bar on my page. They’re all seperate links on the left of my portal with nothing on the right side.

Wow @soccergirl2232 they are fixing you up for sure, lol! I think my D’s lasted a day, but who really knows when it happens unless you log in at that exact time?

@Winky1 yeah maybe it’s happened to every portal but we just happened to catch it. Also anyone know what day RD decisions for BU came out in past years?

Somewhere I heard the 18th :-? @Soccergirl2232

Last year decisions came out on the morning of March 18, which was a Saturday.

So I think it’ll be Saturday, March 17th this year.
