I’ve heard of Boston University for its beautiful campus and excellent academic atmosphere since I was a little child. In junior year, as I did my college research, BU stood out for its unique red icon and attractive pictures. At that time, my parents and I decide to visit there by ourselves to really explore this university. I love this urban city, the Charles River, the tall buildings, and everything within this area. Lots of the colleges in Boston share this environment; however, what especially makes me decide to apply to BU is its human physiology program. Because of a large number of doctors in my family, most of my childhood toys were medical related equipment, like a stethoscope. Since then, I’ve become interested in the intricate human body system. I hope to be a neurologist or a pharmacist in the future, so I think this program can lay a solid foundation for me to go to the medical school. Even when I looked into the curriculum this program offers, I’m convinced that this is the perfect program for me as the courses are fascinating to me. As an immigrant, I also love the cultural diversity of BU and would like to get involved in the BU community. If I’m admitted to this university, it will truly fulfill my college dream and the college experience I’ve been expecting. I will fuel my academic knowledge, pursue my career goals, and finally contribute to Boston University.
