BU Transfer Aid

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>On Monday, I got my decision from BU that I was accepted for a January 2010 transfer. However, I need SOME (but not much), aid for me to be able to go.</p>

<p>My aid package isn't in yet, as I needed to send parental 1040/W2 docs in.</p>

<p>Being a first-semester freshman, my HS performance was </p>

<p>4.0
1260/2020 SAT
A few athletic and academic ECs
And I got 2 recommendations
My brother went to BU on a full ride and was scholar of the year twice</p>

<p>What do you think the chance of me getting 10-20k of aid are? That's all I really need to get out of the hellhole (Drexel) I'm currently at.</p>

<p>$10K sounds a whole lot more likely. BU is pretty clear cut–they use the big money for the very top students but also ‘discount’ for many in smaller amounts.</p>
