@klgood That’s so annoying… You should call tomorrow, ask to have them change it on applicant link, get the name of the person you talked to, and if it is not changed to complete by Monday afternoon call back and ask for the same person again.

Accepted!! With 35,000 in aid!

Oh, no, seeing all these acceptances is making me sooooo nervous. Congrats everyone! I hope I hear tomorrow.

Me too @greatcatsby965 I am so anxious!

@AdoddProductions Still in the very same situation. Thinking up a financial miracle and considering debt I hadn’t before. @Discover loans? I’m thinking transfers just get the leftover finaid?

Accepted as well! Hope everyone else finds out soon :)

is there a fb page for admitted transfer students? I’d love to meet some of my potential future classmates!

Accepted to School of Management!!! Very very happy…but here it goes…

my financial aid was terrible…was given only $15,000 in GRANT money (which is what is important) versus last year’s $30,000.

How much GRANT money was everyone given?

Last year, I applied to COM with a 4.0. This year I applied to SMG with a 3.6. Was this the difference?

I didn’t see any update yet, but I received the email from Registrar office that they can’t process my syllabi. So I need to submit it again. Does it mean…? I am so nervous…

@iheartboston I don’t think your GPA was the difference. My GPA as a Freshman applicant was a 3.76 high school gpa but my college transfer gpa was a 4.0 and I still had a huge difference in Grant money (7500 less)–not as much of a difference as yours but it still stinks. I think it just is because we are Transfers.

@adoddproductions I am thinking that as well. But do you think it may have to do with the timing? My parents submitted css/fafsa one week before BU’s March 1 deadline.
Also I applied last year to COM and this year to SMG…I am just trying to understand…

Congrats guys @laurenkes, @RAuclair6, @Music3LOVE, and @jbones157! what is the word on your stats and fin aid? if you guys dont mind, can you post them.

Does anyone know when we should hear back about credit evaluation?

Registrar said credit evaluation *should come before the deposit has to be made. No telling exactly when.

I hope all my credits transfer…I took the most general classes possible so they would transfer easily (i.e. Chemistry, French, Calculus, Intro to Sociology, etc.)

You guys think that the weekend will have acceptances? Or should I not worry on the weekends and take a break?

cctransfer212:

I applied as an incoming junior (assuming all of my credits transfer), with a 3.771 GPA from Suffolk University’s honors program, and a 3.7 in high school. I got 37,000 in aid (adding 2,000 to what as given to me to adjust for the increase in Stafford Loans, which were given at the freshman level), 27,000 of which was grant money.

I hope everyone else gets their decisions soon!

@cctransfer212 I had a 3.56 gpa last year but this year I have been studying abroad so honestly I don’t what my US equivalent gpa is right now but it’s about the same or slightly higher. But we don’t have mid term grades at my UK school so I just got signatures from my professors this semester that I was in “good standing” because we literally had zero grades… So I wouldn’t worry about that. I was accepted to BU as a freshman two years ago so I will be a junior in the fall at BU hopefully. As a freshman I got no need based aid but I got a merit scholarship. nothing has changed financially so I didn’t even apply for aid this time around

Congrats everyone! Just a heads up, no classes will transfer for SMG (Business courses). You can take a “waiver exam” but I heard it’s hard. I transferred like 86 semester units/credits but I still need to take a lot of SMG courses.

@626transfer did you find that most of your core general education classes transferred though and it was mainly major classes you had to take again?
