BU vs BC

I know this is a super overdone question, but I was hoping to get a more up to date perspective of the dynamics of both school. Right now I am leaning towards BC for the prestige, pretty campus, and my major/program but BU for the social/greek life , city life, and diversity. I’m a middle class asian girl and I just want to be happy, accepted, and active on campus and from what I’ve read BC doesn’t seem like the school for me but their academic is exactly what I’m looking for. BU’s social scene and diversity sounds more for me, but the program is lacking a bit… Can someone give me your insights on how the schools contrast and what was more important to you in your perspective?

The prestige of BC is not significantly better than BU. Are you OK with the Catholic, Jesuit aspect of BC?

BC is also much smaller. Have you visited both universities and gotten a feel of them? BC has a “campus” feel to it whereas BU is very urban. BC is also a Jesuit university. Jesuits have a reputation of being very provocative. The majority of students will be Catholic but it feels, and is, much less religious than, say, BYU or other religious universities.

In 2017, BC and BU don’t differ in terms of prestige. In fact, BU has become noticeably harder to gain admission to. At the end of the day though I would make it a matter of fit; BU is a robust, urban research institution, whereas BC is a jesuit university with a more traditional campus.
