I was admitted to both BU’s engineering program and George Washington University’s engineering program. I would definitely pick BU in a heartbeat but BU didn’t offer me a scholarship or any kind of grant, just a loan which wouldn’t really help much. But on the other hand GW offered me a $15,000 scholarship and a friend of mine that goes there says the engineering program is good and he really enjoys it there. So I’m going back and forth because of the money, and their tuition is relatively the same so it’d be really expensive to go to BU without any scholarship.
Is there any possible way I can get some money from BU (like I guess negotiate in some way?) or am I going to have to rely on outside scholarships and loans alone? Would it be worth spending the extra money to go to BU instead of GW?
