BU vs. GWU??

So my college decisions came down to Boston University and George Washington University. I'm planning to major in Environmental Studies, but there's a chance I might change after freshman year or something. I understand that BU and GWU are kind of similar and different in many ways, so I'm having a difficult time choosing right now. Maybe listing some pros and cons of each school would help? Thanks!!

These two are very academically comparable. Neither exactly have a traditional college campus. GWU is like NYU in that it’s basically just buildings. BU has somewhat of a campus but again not in the traditional sense.

Where could you see yourself? Boston or DC? where do you want to live after college?

in general I think these schools are very similar. The biggest difference is location.

BU and GW are pretty similar. Same campus layout, same name recognition, comparable costs, etc. It ultimately should come down to which is cheaper and whether you would rather live in the nation’s capital or Boston. No wrong answer. I might prefer the warmer DC weather.

I’m not really sure which school I would fit in the best. I’m kind of in the middle of being an introvert and an extrovert… BU probably has more diversity since it’s a larger school, so I feel that I would be more comfortable there. On the other hand, GWU’s internship and job opportunities really attract me. But in the end, that really is only a small part of choosing colleges, since I want to consider other factors, like the people there or professors.
