BU vs McGill (Theoretical)

I just want this to be a discussion (though it could help for people who might have the same comparison).
Basically, I feel like the two schools are very much alike. Boston vs Montreal is a very hard debate because they are both very good college cities. I also feel like BU and McGill have the same reputation worldwide and in the US (though McGill has the edge in Canada). But these are my own personal opinions and I’m just a high school senior so a lot of you probably know more than I do.
I haven’t seen any BU vs McGill conversations in a while and I had been wondering about this since I personally think the two schools are VERY similar to each other (excluding prices). What do you guys think?

Didn’t you already commit to BU?

@happy1 :)) yes I did but I wasn’t really doing this thread to see if i should decommit…this is more for the sake of knowing (I like to compare colleges)

IMO you would be best off fully focusing on the school you have committed to. Your decision is made and nothing will be gained by this exercise.

@happy1 I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m trying to say…I have been focusing on BU (and I’m very excited to attend, I’ve already made friends and know people who attend, I’m just waiting on my advisor to contact me so I can choose what dorm building I want to stay in and we can discuss classes I can take and what I can do between September and January since I start in January). I’m not trying to “gain” anything from this exercise except knowledge (if you count that as a gain).
If you would like to know, I’m just a curious person. I like to compare and know things for the sake of knowing it (it’s how I think almost 24/7).

McGill over BU for full-pay costs and in many cases even after an aid offer.

McGill over BU for international students because of Canada’s friendlier immigration policies.

For weather and city life, they are pretty much equal.
