BU vs Middlebury

I am planning on transferring this upcoming spring semester and I have applied to Boston University, Middlebury, Colgate, and Connecticut college. So far I have been accepted to BU and Colgate and I am waiting on the other 2. I am interested in International Relations/ Language studies and I know Middlebury has a good program. I don't know how to compare the other schools to it concerning prestige, IR programs, etc.. Coming from California I am just not as familiar with East coast schools as I am with CA schools. Boston is the largest and most urban of the choices and I am not yet sure if I want rural or urban. I am transferring from UC Berkeley, which I know is supposedly very prestigious. After two years I just don't feel like Berkeley is as great as everyone thinks. They don't offer an International Relations major and classes for the Poli Sci major (which contains IR classes) are only offered certain semesters.

Middlebury or Colgate over BU

If you get in, Middlebury for sure.

Midd and Colgate are definitely big steps up from BU. This isn’t close.

I am not familier with middlebury or colgate but if you want a good experience in college with great academics and a great social scene BU is the way to go
