BU vs NEU (engineering)

i applied to both for engineering and I got into NEU through early action. I am pretty sure i will be getting into BU so can anyone help me decide which one would be a better school.

Northeastern has always been known as an engineering school, even in the old commuter school days. NU offers a full range of engineering programs across all disciplines. NU also had a full range of engineering doctoral programs when BU offered no such programs.

BU on the other hand offers only a limited number of engineering departments. No one would ever call BU an “engineering school”. Back in the 1980’s, BU actually considered closing its engineering school. Instead, they chose to build it up. The school is far better than it used to be but is still a relatively unknown appendage to the university. Doctoral programs are also a recent addition.

Didn’t you say neu was your first choice?
there is co op, that’s all i could think of other than was tom said

it was and probably still is, but i still have a while to decide so it wasnt a set in stone first choice.

im deciding between
BU (waiting)
RPI (waiting)
NEU (IN)
university of miami (florida)
drexel (in)

If you think co-op would work ok for you, it seems like NEU is a great choice. (My son is still pondering pros/cons of co-ops. But having parental hindsight/maturity, I see a lot of value to learning what you do or don’t like before graduation.)
