I recently got into both schools for Chemical Engineering. I will have to pay the same amount for both and I am really stuck in which school to choose. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
Aka Boston University and Northeastern University.
Have you visited both? They are very similar yet very different schools. Here are some big differences:
- Co-op program - Northeastern is very big on co-op - what are your thoughts on it?
- Campus: BU is a very integrated city school that is essentially a long street, while NEU is a campus in the middle of a city. Again, depends on what you want.
- Academic philosophy: BU will have a bit more of a liberal arts feel while Northeastern will generally be more of a technically focused school, with fewer requirements for engineering in other areas. Check the degree requirements for each to get a specific idea for you.
Both schools are great options - it comes down to preferences!
