<p>it is also the case the certain schools are more competitive for entry (Business, Engineering) while others are less so (Department of Undergraduate Studies).</p>

<p>when looking at the bubble chart posted above, you need to know your WEIGHTED gpa. The blue bubble indicates likely for acceptance for UP, but you still may be accepted to UP from the yellow bubbles, it all depends upon the strength of the applicant pool in a particular year. Also, some applicants may be accepted to summer session UP instead of fall if they are borderline.</p>

<p>Students who are offered branch campuses are sometimes able to get UP if they switch to DUS or summer session.</p>
