. . . 'Cuz we all love standardized testing, right?

I have two questions: first, I submitted my common app along with the supplement, payment, and teacher recommendations online on January 1st at about 4 pm PT (7 pm ET). The common app website shows that both the supplement and the common app were submitted on 1/1/09 and downloaded on 1/2/09. However, I received an email from Harvard today with the pin code to check application status, and while my common app is shown with a date of 1/03/09, it also says that my supplement and recommendations have not yet be received. Should I be concerned about either of these (date/lack of true receipt)?

Next, on the common app, I listed both my SAT and ACT scores from all test dates, though my SAT scores were higher by comparison (2330 vs. 33/34). Though I did self-report the test scores from both the SAT and ACT, I only sent in my official test scores from the SAT and SAT II's. On Harvard's application status site, both test dates from the ACT are starred, indicating that scores for those test dates (neither of which I am planning on sending) have not yet been received. There is, however, a section to "report scores" yet again -- is this a necessary section or is it merely optional (in other words, is there any true purpose to filling it out?)?

Thanks so much for the help -- best of luck to you all!

To your first question: it's the same for me. I'm guessing they're still sorting through the material, and I doubt it will harm our applications.

To your second question: I don't know, but I'm guessing that the "report scores" section is for you to change your reported scores if you made a mistake, or perhaps to report a January test. Not sure, though.
