Bucknell 2009 Acceptees!

haha this wouldn't really apply to your son but my friend is a freshmen up there and she says she wore skirts until november. how long did your son go until he had to start layering clothes? I'm from Florida so I'm used to the warmer weather but I'm ready to try something new. Also, I love going to the gym...is this a popular spot during the weekdays before/after meals? I was wondering when the best time to go was.

You won't believe this, but we've had more snow in South Texas than they've had in Lewisburg. We had a freak snowstorm at Christmas and got 12 inches of snow in one evening! He was doing okay with the cold until this past week. It was -3 one morning. We lived for 10 years in Northern IL so he has at least been exposed to the idea of cold. As for the gym....haha you are more likely to find my son at Open Mic Night than the gym! It is a nice facility though.

there are people at the gym at all hours of the day. on weekends, weekdays, before meals, after meals, when you wake up, right before you go to sleep... sometimes it can get really crowded, but there is so much equipment there that you can always find something to use anyway.

It must be colder than that there. It's been below zero here several times this year, and I'm three hours south of Bucknell. I can't wait to go!

Anyone else interested in the Residential Colleges?
