<p>I am from Idaho and can't get over to Pennsylvania for a visit, I just applied regular decision and wanted to know what my chances are.</p>
<p>I don’t what to sound cruel, but if you’re white you have virtually no chance. An SAT of 1780 isn’t even close to what they are looking for, unless you’re an UM. Assuming that you’re white, you’d need around a 2200 to have a good chance, 2100 for an average chance.</p>
<p>A 31 still won’t be enough, in my opinion. I hope I’m wrong, but Bucknell is a small school that attracts a lot of applicants. An academically average white person doesn’t strike me as someone who would attract an adcom’s attention. Again, I hope I am wrong.</p>
<p>Um I disagree with Old College Try… a 31 isn’t going to make you a shoe-in or anything, but you’re definately in the ballpark. The median is around a 30 I believe. Being from Idaho will help you a lot. I think you have a great chance.</p>
