<p>I’m trying to decide between Bucknell and WashU for chemistry/pre-med. Obviously, WashU is higher in the rankings, but how do Bucknell’s sciences compare?</p>
<p>Also, how is the football atmosphere at Bucknell? I play football and it would be the difference between playing DIII at WUStl or DIAA at Bucknell, but how is the student support at the school?</p>
<p>ill be the first to say the the football atmosphere wasnt fantastic this year (as you probably know, the team struggled). that said, it was still worlds better than youll find at washu. </p>
<p>as for academics, bucknell is quite well known within the academic community for its strength in the sciences. ive shared this story before, but a friend of mines father is a biology professor at an ivy league university. said friend got into that ivy as well as quite a few other 'elite' institutions but chose bucknell (biochem major) at the recommendation of his dad. cant think of a better endorsement than that.</p>
