I don’t believe my son received a letter. He is a RD applicant and applied for the presidential scholar award. We have had many issues with emails going to junk, so I just assumed that is what happened in this case. I don’t expect they would only notify people they are planning to accept.

It does not read like a likely letter or anything like that so don’t worry about that aspect - but maybe check your portal to be sure your contact info is correct
As difficult as it may be, try not to overthink too much if you didn’t get an email. This happened to me last week with Bentley and it was so nerve wracking. Both of my friends got a email and text from Bentley the night before decisions were released, but I got nothing. One of them ended up getting rejected but me and my other friend were accepted. Whether or not you got an email most likely has nothing to do with your admissions decision. Good luck everyone!

I would not worry if the “heads up” email was not recd … just have him check his application status in the portal this evening 
As I expected, the Bucknell email was in our son’s junkmail.

also i noticed on bucknells first year profile their average accepted gpa is a 3.61…Does anyone know if this is unweighted with core classes or weighted?
