<p>From the article and what I heard at Bdog days it seems like the student experience and education offered at Yale has not really suffered as a result of the cuts. Interestingly, a point made by Dean Mary Miller (I think…) was that because of the cuts, the opening of the new res. colleges has been postponed until post '15. However, in the past few years new faculty has been hired in anticipation of another 900 odd students. As a result student:faculty ratios are lower than ever.</p>
