Hey guy,
I just got accepted to ucla n USC for economics and am torn between the two.

I think I am leaning slightly towards ucla, however I am worried/ wondering about the effects of the budget cuts currently faced by ucla.

So from your experiences how have these cuts affected you? And also what is ucla doing to solve this situation?

Thanks!

UCLA says that it’s been saving money in anticipation of budget cuts, so it has some sort of pillow. Critics argue that UCLA should be more aggressive in licensing and patents so it gets more money, but I really don’t know what it’s really doing. People say that because of budget cuts, class sizes are going to be larger, but that’s unavoidable because of the large student population and popularity of classes, such as chemistry and biology classes that darn pre-meds need. Some programs like peer learning/tutoring have been cut. Go where you have to pay less.
