I got accepted into both, but am not sure which to attend. I currently am undecided on what I want to major in, but I would like to transfer out after a year (from either university) to NYU or something. I feel like Stony Brook is better in rank, but there might be more to do in Buffalo. Not too sure...can anyone who has experience with both help me out and tell me where I should go for my freshman year?

Go Buffalo. SB is boring.

agreed- buffalo

Buffalo is boring as h*ll

You need a car for everything and bad wheather most of the time your there. Im a student at buffalo and I am actually transfering to stonybrook–even if their campus is more “boring” atlease you can take the railroad/public transportation (which is much easier and faster) to go somewhere then in buffalo.

Buffalo. There is tons to do, and UB is supposed to be one of the best SUNY schools. Buffalo also is a city, so it is better than being in stonybrook.

I think OP may have made their choice already…I hope so anyway!
