Hello there! The name's rladngus and I'm a new member in the community.

Now that I'm done introducing myself, I'd like to ask you all a simple question.

State University of New York at Buffalo (aka SUNY Buffalo) stated this at their first-year admission requirements page:

"Admission to UB is highly competitive and our students are exceptionally talented. In Fall 2007, the mean high school average of accepted students was 92 percent (3.3 GPA), 87 percent of accepted students were in the top third of their high school class, and 81 percent scored at or above 1100 on the SAT (critical reading and math)."

My GPA is about 2.5 (at the scale of 4), my ranking is top 50%, and I did not score at or above 1100, but close enough. What are my chances? Should I expect a rejection if I were to apply to SUNY Buffalo?

Thanks for your help.
