Hi, I was attempting to build a scheduling chart but I need to know at which quarters classes are offered. Where is a place that shows this information about all the classes?

How about tree diagrams that indicates prerequisites?

There’s no real way to know when a particular class will be offered, if at all. Looking through the catalogs from the past few years might provide the best clue though.

[The UCSC General Catalog](2022-23 General Catalog)

But it changes year-to-year, so beware. Also, I’ve noticed sometimes the catalog and the departmental websites sometimes conflict each other, making it even more difficult. I think the best way to go about this is to just keep your schedule somewhat open, with electives and such.

dang I am trying to do Robotics engineering BS (4yr) and Electronic Music minor (2 yr), and I worked out a really good schedule, the only problem is that Idk when something will be offered, but since most of them are lower division, I think I am ok. Still, I don’t want to run risks.

You also never know when there might be a time conflict, or a full class, etc… Kinda sucks, in college you kinda have to have plans B, C, and D as well. You can probably try to figure out by year which classes you’ll need to take. Obviously lower div first, then the major requirements, then put electives for senior year, that’ll give you some breathing room in case you don’t get into the classes you absolutely need before senior year.

well, yea, I already have other plans (including classes I need to take each year, that is, all 4 years with some degree of flexibility)
