does the school offer a dual program like that?

what about if you’re an EE?

Are you talking about as an undergrad?

As you know…at virtually any college, an engineering degree requires more credits than other degrees…and their courses are sequenced…

So…I would imagine that the engineering students who come in with a number of AP/IB/dual credits might have the space in their schedule to take a number of business courses. I can’t imagine being able to be a dual major in eng’g and something else unless lots of AP/IB/dual credits were had.

I wonder if a dual engineering and business major would require doing all the Core that the business school requires as well??

I don’t think we have a dual business/engineering BS program, however you can get a business minor relatively easy while getting an engineering degree.

alright…i was just asking cause a BSEng/MBA arrangement seems common at some engineering schools

As feeno said, it is quite possible to get a business minor. Depending on what type of engineering you would be majoring in and how many credits you are entering with, you could major in economics through the College of Arts and Sciences (the courses are taught by the College of Commerce and Business Administration) and that would require about 30 extra credits. If you are good at math, there is a quantitative track that would go well with an engineering degree.
