Reminder: join the admitted students website and also join the Facebook group for Yale 2012: Facebook | Login

i'll try my best.

I'm most likely going to attend also! See you there!

Shall we start a Bulldog Days list?

Continue it if you wish.

maybe i will...depends on school
ok, yea i'm crazy, but i must be a faithful nerd! =)

I didn't go, made friends, survived, so don't worry toooo much. It is nice though.

I'll probably attend.

Are we supposed to attend 1/3 of the days (I believe it was 3 days total) or what? It seems like there are different planned activities on different days but I don't know what is recommended/feasible (3 days is a long time during the school year if it's not on a weekend -- or is it?)...

I still can't believe I got into Yale. They deferred some extremely qualified kids from my school...

I'll be there provided it doesn't conflict with my state's speech tournament. Actually I'll probably be there either way but if I have to give up the last shot in my life to break into finals I'm going to feel really guilty about going to Bulldog Days.

What are the dates? I applied RD but I'm just interested...

Bulldog days last year was April 16, 17, and 18 (Monday-Wednesday) and I have a feeling that the admissions office will continue to stick with the second to last Monday-Wednesday of April so that students can truly experience the academic as well as the social aspects of Yale. Obviously, they want to emphasize more of the academics as that's the main reason one wants to study at Yale. I would encourage you to stay for all three days because it is truly an amazing experience. You'll arrive around noon on Monday and it takes some time to get adjusted (finding a group of people to talk to, finding your way around campus, the awesome class of 2012 dinner, etc). Also all of the events on each day are different, all of which will give you a great representation of daily life at Yale. If you only attend for one day you'll also miss out on classes that meet only on Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday and I assure you there are some great classes on those days. However, if you can only make one day, try to go on Tuesday because that's the day of the extracurricular bazaar, academic bazaar, hundreds of student-teacher panels, and other great "come to Yale" activities (also there's a lot of free food and other things). If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Congrats again.

This year it's April 21-23

Are there free t-shirts? I'm only going if I get a t-shirt.

^Last year they mailed one to you from the admit site. BUT you could probably get a free t-shirt from one of many organizations that will be trying to get you to sign up for their mailing list.

Haha thanks :)

I'll be there!

i will be there too!

Wouldn't miss it for anything!
