Bullies

I been bullied physically and mentally in highschool. I still get traumatized by my past experiences. This bully influenced others to physically fight and rumors spread that his dad was gang member. How can I ease my agony?
Any of you been bullied to an extent where you felt nostalgic at moments.

That is awful! I have never been bullied in high school, I don't think anyone is outright "bullied" in our highschool, or at least I have never seen it. There is plenty of gang violence and general snarkiness between some groups, but very little overt so-called bullying. However, in middle school that was a different matter. The year I moved to CA I was really reclusive and probably mean, and that caused others to dislike/bully me, but it wasn't severe. I think I've just shut out a lot of that, because I have few memories from sixth/seventh grade...I was/am mostly nostalgic for "home" and true "friends."

I hope things get better for you. PM me if you want to talk.

I was bullied by several people in elementray school and that kind of set me up for it in middle school. Of course, people like that tend to go in the wrong direction and dissapear later on. I highly doubt bullying is at all common in HS...but I can see verbal abuse still occuring. I still know 1 guy who for whatever reason hates my guts, but fortunately for me(as he is in football) I am on good terms with other football players. He seems generally disliked around campus as well, though he likes to say otherwise.

SDMS12: I dunno what kind of school you go to...but perhaps going to the authorities(Principal, LD etc.) may be in order. I know their are school out there who really care less about this however...

Find friends.

that's my best advice for you. The more friends you have, the safer you are. try to get friends of all background from all places. That way you're covered every where you go.

If it's just one guy, then stay the hell away from him?
