<p>People "bump" up their posts by adding a post to it. This causes the thread to pop to the top of the board, so that when people log in, the thread will be at the top of the list...and more likely to be viewed and commented on.</p>

<p>Ahhh, thanks. And wow, that was quite a thread mezzomom. I agree with one post that suggested CC post abbreviations somewhere for easy look up. Many are obvious, but not all.</p>
