Bunch of questions from a confused senior...help!

Hello,

I have plenty of questions regarding the USC app, im hoping some of you can help.

1) Does USC want me to include the "+" and "-" parts of my grades, or does an A- count the same as an A?

2)My school offered some accelerated English and Algebra 2/Trig classes that were harder than regular classes, but did not give an honors point. Is it worth adding the "accelerated" to the end of the courses, or should i just leave them as regular English and Alg/2 trig from the drop down menu?

3) Should I list PE as a course taken?

4)Should I put the number of hours total, or hours per week/weeks per year for my volunteer activities in the Activity Summary section? Does USC want to see community service hours, or just the program I was involved in?

Thanks

Page 24 of the USC 2008 Undergraduate Application contains a "Do Not List" paragraph for certain classes. That paragraph includes "physical education."

On the paper app, put the pluses and minuses on the academic history report (I can't remember if the online form allows it.) But in calculating and reporting stats for admissions, USC does not count pluses or minuses or extra points for incoming freshman.

If there is a place to note "accelerated", it is worth doing.

From the paper app instructions: "For each activity, use this format: Name of activity; grade(s) you were involved in it; number of hours per week; number of weeks per year; description of the activity; your role(s). (Example: Spanish Club; 9th–12th grade; 2 hours per week; 30 weeks per year; language club dedicated to promoting the understanding of Spanish language and culture; elected treasurer junior year and president senior year.)"
