<p>Should I apply to it if I am Asian?</p>

<p>In the requirements it says:
Preference is given to California freshman applicants from historically underrepresented groups (African-American/black, American Indian/Alaska native, Mexican/Mexican-American/Latino).</p>

<p>Which means I can apply, but is it worth my time?</p>

<p>Asian is not listed as an underrepresented group. As a matter of fact, Asians make up 34% of UCLA’s student population.</p>
