<p>Hey guys!! Like many of you, I am waiting to hear back from burger king about their scholarships... I think the $5,000 and up winners are announced in early march and the $1000 winners are announced in early May.</p>

<p>I got an email today telling me I got the nonrenewable $1000 scholarship too! On the website they said they will be alerting everyone through the months of March and April.</p>

<p>Rejected. Although, let’s be honest; it wasn’t a very thorough application.</p>
<p>My D got rejected, too. Don’t feel too bad…she was a tip top student with really stellar stats. My other D won this award 2 years ago (there was a small essay back then) she had AVERAGE stats, but more leadership…who knows?</p>

<p>Just got an email from them today…</p>
<p>Additionaly funds became available, so as long as I send in my transcript/other necessary materials by April 10th, I should be recieving $1000!</p>
