Has anyone who applied for the Burke Scholarship heard anything about not making it, or getting an interview?

My oldest daughter is a Burke, her interview last year did not occur until March 29th. My second daughter has also applied & has heard absolutely nothing so far. My oldest also has no info on where they are in the process. If you have heard anything since your post, please share. thanks

Don’t know anything specifically about the Burke, but know that the Pere Marquette letters were received a week ago and the results of the A&S college exam last Thurs. or Fri. (no good news here unfortunately!). Way of saying they are clearing the decks for the other scholarships so the Burke should be forthcoming.

Anyone know how many U.S. History scholarships were awarded? S scored a 5 on the U.S. History AP and a perfect 800 on the SAT II U.S. History so we thought perhaps he had a shot at one. Sorry that it didn’t work out that way as MU probably is out of the running unless f.a. comes through.

Financial Aid for us usually consists of permission to take out $30-40k in loans, so I feel your pain in the wait for scholarship notification. My daughter received an Ignatius scholarship, but it only covers half of the tuition & she would rather go to Madison than take out huge loans.

Good luck on the U.S. History. Nice job on the tests!
