Okay, so I have just been accepted to UC San Diego. I've read all of the threads but I still have a few unanswered questions, and I was wondering if some UC transfer veterans would be able to help me.

It says on my acceptance I have to have 90 UC-transferable quarter credits/60 semester credits by the end of this Spring term. I come from an international, 4-year college. How do I know what is transferable?
I would have about 70 TRIMESTER credits, which is junior standing at my school. I also have lots of AP and IB credits. Does anybody know the conversion from trimester units to semester units, or are they the same thing under the UC system?

It also says I need to have 2 writing courses. Only 1 writing course is offered at my college, so I took the closest thing possible, an advanced literature class. I made a note of this on my application.

When I emailed the admissions office, I received a reply saying I would not have been accepted without these minimum requirements. Does this mean my literature course cleared the writing requirement?

Thanks. I'm planning to call the admissions office but international phone calls are crazy expensive : /
