so second semester junior year just started and i'm already exhausted as hell. any motivational tips or advice? last semester i think i got (final grades not in yet) 3.5uw (4.1w)

i’m so glad high school is 4 years and that you can apply EA and ED to schools, because i am completely burnt out this senior year. i was ok junior year–well, at least for the first semester. i started to burn out at around your time too.

um…as for motivation… imagine you’re applying to a school senior year that you thought would be a safety (at this current point in time) but is now a reach.

and if you haven’t thought about which colleges you’re going to apply to yet… you’re in the same boat i was in last year, so cheers =]

Holy crap, you just described ME haha! Down to the GPA lol. I don’t know why, it’s not that I even have that much work, but I can’t get myself to do it. I think about my hw like all night and then just finish it the next day in school.

if your feeling burnt out, you may need to have more fun. That way, when you get back t doing homework/schoolwork, you’ll have more motivation since you weren’t thinking about it all day. Maybe take a nice vacation? or try a new sport/club or something?

2nd semester junior year was rough for me, and I would’ve been completely burnt out if I hadn’t had the opportunity to attend ISEF

If you’re that burned out to get a 3.5UW, maybe you should go to an easier school.

I’m burned out as a second semester senior. My classes haven’t even gotten easier - they’ve actually gotten more difficult and have started assigning even more work. I’m just slacking majorly and procrastinating like crazy. It’s not really so much a lack of fun but more of a burning desire to be anywhere else than at my school (which sucks balls).

Just do your homework, but if it’s graded for completion/barely looked over, just bogus it and save yourself time.

Do homework during class if your teacher doesn’t care.

ugh me too
I had uw 4.0 until junior year
