<p>I have heard that there is a group of CMU students who travel to Columbus, OH some weekends. Since my younger son will start CMU in the fall and is older brother attends OSU I was wondering is there is a bus that goes campus to campus?
Or does anyone know of an inexpensive was to travel to Columus OH from CMU?
I have called Grey Hound Bus and with a 7 day notice round trip to Columbus, OSU is $103.00.</p>

<p>In terms of buses, Greyhound is really your only option. If he orders online it’s typically about $44–still kind of a terrible price, but deffs more reasonable. There are quite a few people who are from the Columbus area who might be able to carpool with him. To be honest though, the workload at CMU is such that it’s pretty unreasonable to travel on the weekends too frequently.</p>

<p>Thank you for your input. We were just thinking of long weekends e.g. Labor Day or if he needs a break and wants to come home. We would have him stay with his brother and then my husband and I would drive up to see them both. Just like to know our options.
He is quite aware of the rigor of CMU, one of the reasons he chose the school.</p>
