Bus Route HELP

Hi I'm having a little trouble finding the best bus route. I'll be living at The Village, but need to commute to the UCSD Medical Center. Which route is the best route?

<a href="http://yamhill.ucsd.edu/TPS/PDFs/shuttle_route_map.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://yamhill.ucsd.edu/TPS/PDFs/shuttle_route_map.pdf</a></p>

I've been looking at these bus routes. Do I take the torrey pines route then jump on either the coaster shuttles or the hillcrest/old town transit center? I'm really confused if these routes are straight routes or are there stops in between?

Sorry I'm not familiar with buses, (only when I had field trips lol or straight routes but I've only done that very few times).

Thanks for the help, any help is really appreciated! :)

here’s a link to the bus schedule

walk/shuttle to the gilman bus stop (its behind center hall) this is the place where all the buses come

dont take the torrey pines bus unless you need to go to the solana beach train station- it comes very sporadically

hope this helps

Thank you so much! That helped me out a bunch!!

what time do the buses stop running on weekdays/end?

If I’m not mistaken I believe the buses stop running at 12 am.

Hey! I don’t know if this helps but if you google map where you want to go they give you bus directions to there. It also includes walking to the bus stop and bus times so its super convenient.

^^^ googlemaps for bus routes is very very useful. I also use it to find the closest shelters to volunteer at XD

I know the 201/202 stopped running after 11pm. I took the bus to watch a late night movie with my date and we ended up walking 40 minutes back to campus :stuck_out_tongue: sad. You can check the timetables for all the routes here: [Public Transportation Serving UCSD](Transportation Services)

i think theres also an app for your phone for the bus routes…im not sure though.
