I want to study finance as an undergrad. Would a degree in business administration with a concentration in finance be any different/less marketable from a finance degree alone?
Unfortunately I can’t contribute an answer, but here’s a free bump as I’ve been wondering this as well when I noticed many schools only offer business admin
In many schools a concentration is the same as a major. Look at the school website carefully and you should be able to tell.
Agreed - some schools only grant undergrad concentrations on their Bus Admin degrees. Your actual degree would read “Business Administration (Finance)” or (Information Systems) or (Marketing), etc.
I agree with @arc918 I’ve been meaning to take Bussiness major as well. I don’t believe it’d be less marketable because their both business in nature.
