Business Admission: what is taken into account?

<p>You don't apply to the business school straight out of undergrad. First, you apply to one of Berkeley's colleges (mostly likely L&S). After two years or so, when you declare your major, that's when you apply to the business school.</p>

<p>For undergrad admissions they look at (in order of importance):</p>

<ol>
<li>GPA</li>
<li>In-state residency</li>
<li>SATs</li>
<li>SAT IIs</li>
<li>Essays</li>
<li>ECs</li>
<li>Rigor of courseload</li>
</ol>

<p>For undergrad business admissions they look for this:</p>

<p>50% is for grades in prereqs
25% is for essays
25% is for ECs, recommendations, etc.</p>

<p>I think that's how they split it up.....</p>
